Do I have to give my neighbour the “good side” of the fence?

No, There is no rule or law regarding what side of the fence has to face your neighbour's.


What is the legal height for a dividing rear garden fence?
It is usually two meters (approx. 6'6'') but we would advise you check this with your local council.


What is the legal height for a front garden fence?
It is usually one meter (approx.3’3”) but we would advise you confirm this with your local council.


Does the legal maximum height for a fence include the trellis?
Yes. The maximum legal height includes any gravel board and trellis.


How wide are your standard fence panels?
They are 1828mm (72") NOT 1.8mtrs.


How wide are your standard gates?
They are 90cm NOT 36”.


How far does my fence post have to go in the ground?
The recommended depth is 60cm (approx. 2’).


How many bags of post mix do I need for each post?
Depending on the size of the hole, you will require between 1- 2 bags per post.


Why do you not give delivery times, only the day?
We are only a small company therefore we have to arrange deliveries in an order geographically to enable us to complete all deliveries that day.


Can we request a phone call on the day of delivery to advise us of an approximate time?

Yes. If you make a request, our driver will call you to advise when he is leaving our Enfield depot with your delivery.
